Amansara
Amansara — 'peaceful Apsara' in Khmer — occupies the former guesthouse of King Norodom Sihanouk, built in 1962 and designed by the French architect Vladimir Bodiansky. The 24 suites are arranged around a central pool in the original modernist building, their interiors a masterclass in mid-century Khmer elegance. Amansara is the closest hotel to Angkor Wat — a ten-minute bicycle ride from the main gate — and the finest base for exploring the temples of the Angkor Archaeological Park. The Aman Spa incorporates Khmer healing traditions and local krama textile rituals.
The iconic centerpiece of the Angkor complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest religious monuments in the world.
A vast ancient city housing several temples, including the Bayon Temple with its enigmatic smiling faces.
A temple famously overgrown with trees, offering a mystical and atmospheric experience.
