La Cheneaudière

Still family-owned, La Cheneaudière Hôtel & Spa has gone from strength to strength over the last half century. After opening in 1974 with just ten rooms, the once boutique property has since grown into a fully-fledged five-star hotel and spa, whilst retaining all the independent character that first drew guests upon its opening. Cozy rooms nod to the hotel’s countryside location in the heart of Alsace, with rich shades of blue, green and midnight black inspired by the nearby forest and Vosges mountains. The vast three-floor spa and its various pools, baths and saunas have elevated the hotel to a true R&R retreat, and classic French restaurant Le Chêne and one Michelin star at Le Feuillage are also putting it on the map for gastronomes.
